The Lasallian Education Council (LEC) recently celebrated its 20th anniversary in a reflection session on May 3, 2024, where Brother Victor Franco FSC was the facilitator. The session looked into the essence of the Lasallian mission in Hong Kong. The members commemorated the Council’s pivotal role in nurturing educational leadership, navigating policy changes, and fostering community outreach initiatives. Amidst discussions on adapting traditional values to modern contexts and embracing new directions for educational excellence, the Lasallian community emerged poised to embrace its sacred mission of serving the marginalized and shaping servant leaders for the future. The session was followed by a dinner social where former members of the LEC were invited to attend as a sort of reunion.
